The Government of India has awarded 10,000 scholarships for the children of the freedom fighters for five years and this scholarship scheme was launched in 2017 - 2018.

This year, a total of 2000 students will be given scholarship at the higher secondary and graduate level. Graduate level students will get BDT 50,000 and higher secondary students will get BDT 20,000.
