Facebook will remove the edited video from their platform using artificial intelligence known as Deepfake. The announcement was made recently by Facebook. Deepfake is basically a computer-made video clip, which looks just like the original video. The BBC reported in a report online. Facebook said in a blog post that DeepFake videos feature distorted information, which has become an important challenge for the modern technology industry. Deepfake has not yet become very popular in the Internet, but it can slowly become relevant. Using software, politicians or stars produce videos that produce different videos, which may seem like actual videos. Facebook authorities have said that if a video is edited in such a way that it does not look like the real person and is misleading the viewer, action will be taken. Fact Checkers along with Facebook staff will identify whether these videos are actual videos. But this policy will not be applied to any satirical or comedic video. Last September, Facebook authorities announced that they were spending $ 1 billion to develop Deepfacec recognition technology. Earlier, a Deepfake video was released circulating around Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's CEO. The video credits a secret agency for Facebook's success. Along with Facebook, companies like Google and Microsoft have announced that they will fight Deepfake. Facebook says it will work with academia, the government and businesspeople to find Deepfake manufacturers. In addition to Deepfake, Facebook has also announced initiatives to stop various videos such as nude, violent, hateful speech. Answered by Birds of the sky (2 Golds) Thursday, 09 Jan 2020, 05:38 AM |
