Answer(s):

Yahoo Group is closing

Yahoo's groups service has been shutting down for almost two decades. Yahoo Group users will have the opportunity to remove their information by December 5. Verizon-owned tech company Yahoo has discontinued the content upload facility on their group site.

Yahoo says that all groups will be made private by December 14 and all previously uploaded content will be deleted.

Yahoo Group Team sends users mail, saying privacy is important in today's era. Yahoo Group sites are being shut down to match the main goal. If you do not remove all content by December 5, no other content will be available here. Data can be removed from the Privacy Dashboard.

The Yahoo Groups service was launched in the 2001. Millions of users have joined the service since its launch, with the goal of bringing together like-minded people like many Facebook groups. However, as Yahoo began to give importance to their mail platform, users' interest in groups declined. Apart from this, the popularity of the groups was decreasing due to major changes in the habits of smartphone users.
