The whole process of getting an E passport:
Step 1: Go to https://www.epassport.gov.bd/landing
and open an account using your email address. They will send you an email containing an activation link. As soon as you click on the link, your account will be activated. (Sometimes it takes time to get the email. Wait with patience and don't forget to check your spam folder)
Step 2: From one account you can apply for upto 6 passport. So, if you're planning to renew all the passports of your family, you do not have to create individual accounts. You can submit all the application (upto 6) from one single account.
Step 3: Login to your account and everything is fairly self explanatory. There's no form that needs to be filled out. You'll need either a birth certificate or NID number in order to complete your application. You do not have to scan or upload anything during the application process.
Step 4: After completing the application choose a date for biometric enrollment. On that day, you'll have to be present at the passport office for biometric. Choose a date and submit your application.
Step 5: You can pay both online and offline. Pay and print your application and application summary. After completing all the above mentioned procedure, you'll get an confirmation email. In that email, they will give you a list of documents that you must bring with you on your biometric enrollment date. Please find the attachment with this post to know about fees.
Some tips: My biometric enrollment date was on 10th September and I got my passport on 24th September (within 14 days). But due to the increasing volume of application, the tentative delivery date is now 18-20 days. So, if you decide to get an E passport, do it as soon as possible.
