Facebook is turning off group storage features


Facebook has announced to close the group storage feature soon. Using this feature, administrators and members of the group could post pictures and videos that would disappear after 24 hours.


Facebook says the group will no longer have the facility after September 23. The group's current stories will be deleted and no new posts will be posted. News technology website Senate.


A Facebook spokesperson said, "We are discontinuing the group storage feature because we want the features in the group to effectively improve communication between people and improve the experience in the Facebook community."


The Facebook group is a special online place where users can get together and discuss common issues. Now, over 10 million people use Facebook groups every month on Facebook.


Last Saturday social media guru Matt Navarra revealed the first group storage feature to be removed.
