Microsoft plans to officially release the Chromium version of the Edge browser after releasing a beta test version in September. Official Build Build Version of Microsoft Edge Chromium is coming out January 20, 2020, as they design and release new logos! The software will be available for Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, and MacOS starting January 5th! Today Microsoft has released the "release candidate" version, which has released most of the features of the Chromium browser, and Microsoft will release it in January, making it a stable version!
