How does Google know about traffic jams around the world? A man by the name of Simon Weckert did a strange thing. He started the google map on 99 mobiles and put the mobiles in a small pot and started moving slowly over a clear Berlin road. As a result, the road was showing red color on Google Maps. Using Google Maps, you know that red means jam on that road. That means he was able to create a false jam in Google Maps. Google follows all mobile users with GPS. From there it is easy to calculate the speed, distance, using the algorithm. Shows traffic jams where there are many users, and the vehicle is slow. The "yellow" line is shown to have less jam if there is higher velocity. Google collects old data and visits us at a certain average time to figure out how much time it takes to get from one place to another. Google knows everything.
