College should have 'artificial intelligence': Softbank CEO The present age is the age of artificial intelligence. Now is the time to move forward. Masayoshi Sun, CEO of Japan's Softbank Group, thinks so. At a program held in Japan on Tuesday, the Softbank CEO said artificial intelligence (AI) or artificial intelligence should be made compulsory in the college admission test. To compete with the US and China in this new technology, students should be introduced to such new technology. The information was released in a report by Reuters. Softbank CEO said that Japanese students will not learn the AI itself unless it is compulsory. He made this call to the country's authorities at a Japanese government event while addressing innovative topics. He called on young people to be involved in new technology to eliminate GDP and AI related patents with the US and China. Masayoshi said Japan has ruined the past, but does not want to ruin the future. The CEO of SoftBank said Japan needs to work on two issues seriously. One is the automated driving system (autonomous driving) and DNA-based disease elimination, considering the country's aging population. Automated driving is much safer than driving older people on the road. He also said that Japan's Softbank is planning to invest in these two issues. The Japanese entrepreneur said he would take advantage of the uncertainty created by China and the US trade war as a close ally of the United States. He called for cooperation rather than competition with US technology. Answered by Birds of the sky (2 Golds) Thursday, 19 Dec 2019, 10:47 AM |
